Some more inspiration from my new cd.
This time a different song.
Portmarnock Beach Boy Blue ;; the Guggenheim Grotto
I'm missing you, swimming nude
I'm frozen through, Portmarnock beach boy blue
Pretty drunk, I'm pretty young
Pretty sea salt on my tongue
I've got a black bag of wool in my head
I've got a fist full of songs in my chest
You know the sky bleeds blue not red
It fills the sea like a vein from crest to crest
Pretty drunk, I'm pretty young
Pretty sea salt on my tongue
It's very, striking, something I like in paintings.
It's strange that a song about skinny dipping could sound so melancholy.

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon... ~ Terry Pratchett

To help inspire you this month, #project-improve and #ProjectComment have joined creative and collaborative forces to bring you 'An Image Is Worth A Thousand Words' Contest.
The theme of this contest is pretty much as the title states; we would like you to draw on inspiration for a piece of literature that coincides with an image of your choice. The extent of the involvement of the image is entirely up to you.
Both visual artists and writers can take part, so please read the article to find out more!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
If you're looking for a deviant to brighten up your day, look no further than `JurgenDoe. Jurgen's infectious enthusiasm and passion for deviantART is evident in all areas. His generous community spirit and positive energy have earned him a reputation within our community as being someone who is a role model to us all. Jurgen's eclectic gallery gives you a glimpse into his vibrant personality, and shows that he's not just good at cooking up a storm in the kitchen, but that he's always prepared to throw some devious spices into his artistic endeavours. So with a dash of hooray and a heaped spoonful of congratulations, we are delighted to present the Deviou... Read More
